By Jove we’ve done it again! Today I wanted to share with you the beautiful art of @nushdraws for Antiquity’s Gate: Through A Mirror Darkly! It features two of my favorite fictional ladies: Sylvia & Penelope. Actually, make that three of my beautiful ladies, since Pluto, that amalgamation of metal in the background, is also considered a lady by her doting creator.
What do you say about those colors?! I love the foliage, burnt orange is my very favorite color in the whole world and I love that it adds such beautiful bursts of vibrancy to the scene. In fact, I love everything about the piece if we’re being truthful!
Through A Mirror, Darkly makes its debut on September 24, 2019. That’s right, only a few weeks from now!
But wait, you say. Didn’t you just release Three Days Till Dawn in August?
Why yes, I did! And I will release the third in October and the fourth in November! All of them have been waiting (im)patiently for me. You see, I really wanted to release the first half of the series rapidly. Why? Mostly for those like myself who hate to read one book and wait a year for the sequel. I would rather wait and read them all! And while I can’t give you all 8 books immediately, I can give you four now and four in 2020. I’d say it’s not a bad compromise!
If you’re on Goodreads, you can add Through a Mirror Darkly to your “Want to read” shelf, or check out early reviews for Three Days Till Dawn!
The children ran along the shore,
The sea rose up to greet them.
“Take care, beware, don’t linger there!”
Their elders did entreat them.
The sun shone down, the sand was warm,
Their words rang out, beguiling.
It seemed a dream, so right and clean,
What could the sea be hiding?
A step they took, into the surf
No fear found in their hearts.
So free, to be, upon the sea,
To never be apart.
Into the gentle froth they dove,
The sea rose up to meet them.
Too late, that’s that, no turning back,
The sea rose up to eat them.
